Two Book Club firsts this month: a returning author in the form of Jane Harper's "Force of Nature" (our previous read by her was *The Dry") and a review/discussion conducted entirely in Facebook Messenger as everyone felt too "zoomed out" to face a virtual get together.
Susan said: "An easy read but pretty bog standard, and not her best book.", whilst Diane said "I enjoyed it, but it could have been better- more suspenseful!". Jenny didn't really enjoy it, whilst Sandy said "The book just fitted the bill for a day I was too shattered to move." Sarah was "was looking forward to reading but it was one that won’t stay in memory long."
Scores ranged from 4.5 to 8.5, which averaged out at 6.5. Book Club is taking a break and will return in October.
