April came to Wiltshire Federation's rescue yesterday morning when she fixed a last-minute technical hitch at the Annual Meeting in Salisbury. Co-opted as Presentation Manager for the rest of the day, she had quite a different view to the 600+ audience when Sally delivered her presentation of what we get up to at Pewsham Belles! Reaction to Sally's speech has been enthusiastic and positive. Old Town WI (Swindon) said they would have liked to have heard more, and Olga Tucker from our sister Pewsham WI said: "I loved your presentation. It was great to hear about a new group, IT literate, that has been so successful and has had so much support from its members." Of the day Sally said: "There was a lovely warm friendly atmosphere, and very interesting to hear about what is happening in the wider WI.", and April added: "Sally absolutely smashed it! It was a really interesting day, and it was so positive to meet so many fellow Wiltshire members, and talk about what's happening across the Federation. Not to mention that the wheels of adapting are turning, if not fully in actuality, they're definitely starting to move!" We look forward to hearing a full report at our next meeting, and seeing THAT video!
