This month the book club reviewed This House is Haunted by John Boyne. We thought it had a strong start which deteriorated into a predictable, unbelievable, and not very frightening tale. Most of us like a seasonal chiller! Everyone was fairly unanimous in their voting, with an score of 6 out of 10. Those of us who'd read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas agreed it's a far better book by this author.
Our book selections for the coming months will be put up for voting in the next few days. There are great options from everyone, thank you.
