We closed our first full year as Pewsham Belles with a bring and share supper and suitably festive games. Clare managed to score the most points with the snowball game and we all learnt our right from left with Fiona's seasonal poem for pass the parcel. This ensured everyone took a small gift home, which was a nice touch. There was a good choice of sweet and savoury food, Buck's Fizz and serve yourself teas and coffees to help our evening's socialising go smoothly. Everyone was generous with their gifts for the hamper raffle which meant 8 ladies had something substantial to take home. Sarah Low won the draw for the Denman bursary and her squeal of delight suggests this will be put to good use.
Thanks to our committee for all their hard work in ensuring the evening - and the rest of the year - was a complete success. Elsewhere in the month, the Our Town Group had a lot of fun deciding what a Chippenham version of Monopoly would look like; the Book Group had an enjoyable meal at La Passione; and the Crafty Crew had a lovely evening's socialising thanks to the gift of wine presented as thanks for providing two of this year's main sessions. All that remains is to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - we look forward to seeing you in 2018!
