Wendy reports (via Facebook): It was great to catch up with the ladies at book club this week. We had an interesting debate about the merits of 'The Mistake' by KL Slater. Whilst it was an easy going page turner the plot has so many holes we thought we might be holding a sieve! We scored this one 5.5 out of 10. We should have known, the clue was in the title. Our next meeting is Tuesday 8th May when we we be discussing 'The Good Liar' by Nicholas Searle. I have one spare library copy, and hopefully more will be available by our next main WI meeting. NB it's also time for book club members to get their thinking caps on and choose their next 2 recommendations for us to vote on. We're nearly at the end of the current list!
