The Crafty Crew introduced us to the world of Origami butterflies at this month's meeting. After a well thought out demonstration from Diane with the aid of a few made earlier, everyone was soon folding their own using the pretty specialist papers supplied. The smiles in the photos show how much everyone enjoyed this meeting! Elsewhere this month we've enjoyed a meal at The Garden and found out The Importance of Being Earnest. Nicholas Searle's The Good Liar was reviewed and Chippenham's blue plaques discovered. We had quiz team success thanks to Lockside WI's event, plus two members enjoyed Wiltshire Federation's visit to Buttle Farm. May's events aren't quite over yet, as we're slipping in a Flexi-Club meeting at Allington Farm on Tuesday! Meet there for coffee at 10am. Our Creative Writing group finish off May's events on Thursday. Meet at Wendy's at 7.30pm; the optional writing prompts to use are Caravan and Key.
