It was another enjoyable evening for the Book Club where we discussed The Sunrise by Victoria Hislop and had very differing opinions. For the first time we had two people not making it to the end of the book. We felt that the main characters were not very likable but agreed that the book was very well researched and interesting to know more about the events of the time.
We scored the book 6.5 out of 10. Our next book is Chris Packham's Fingers in the Sparkle Jar., which we'll review on July 10th. Note, there are limited copies at the library so you may need to source this one yourself. Wendy is also looking for your next 2 book choices to put to the vote to complete our reading list for the year.
