October Book Club: How Hard Can it Be?

Wendy reports: "Another great evening with the Book Club ladies. Tonight we discussed How Hard Can It Be? by Allison Pearson. We scored this book.....I can't remember right now but we had a great evening.

The next meeting is Tues 13th November at the Flying Monk. The book is Close to Home by Cara Hunter.

Oh and Roy says the score was 6.5."* *= we agreed that "Roy" was one of the best parts of the book, used by the author to illustrate the vagaries of a menopausal memory in a humourous way. Roy was the imaginary archivist in the main character's brain tasked with fetching the answers to questions Kate knew were there, but finding hard to find. He would show up hours later with the answer, and usually too late! Note the change of venue for the next meeting.
