Saturday was a nice sunny day to drive across Wiltshire into unknown territory. The final destination was Goatacre Village Hall, where Wiltshire Federation were holding their day long Christmas crafts workshop. A fabric bell, various knitted Christmas trees, a wreath table centre piece, seasonal sugarcraft and willow weaving were the crafts on offer. Everyone chose two crafts (and prayed they got their favourites); our intrepid attendee was relieved her choices of willow weaving and knitted Christmas tree came through. Under the gentle tuition on offer, 40 attendees from across Wiltshire left the day proud of what they'd achieved. All the makes looked great, even if at least one attendee (me) knew theirs were riddled with mistakes! Look out for a similar workshop next year. With thanks to Lesley Adam (who took photos on the day and posted them to Wiltshire WI's Facebook page) for the use of the attendees in action and the larger photos seen in the above collage.
