Another good turn out for book club this month. We discussed The Forgotten Village by Lorna Cook and we had some very different view points. Definitely a marmite book with scores ranging from 4 to 8. Fiona B was even inspired to visit the village that the book is set in. We had a hearty debate before we moved on to whole heap of other topics....we try our best! Overall we scored the book 6.5 out of 10. Thanks ladies, a very interesting evening discussing so much more than just the book! We're trying something new for December with everyone who's a member of Pewsham Belles invited to join book club members for a curry at the Taj Mahal on the 10th. We won't have a book to discuss, but promise there will still be plenty of discussion and laughter! We'll also have a lucky dip of good reads to take home and tide us over the Christmas holidays.
