A Lebanese Feast

What a fantastic evening we had at February's meeting with Wafaa Powell and a taster session of Lebanese cookery, with the bonus that we got to try everything afterwards. A little bird tells me that Fiona's impressive knife skills when she chopped the parsley were seen to be believed.

This was our second visit from Wafaa and her menu this time was:

  • Tabbouleh (knife skills needed for the enormous mound of flat parsley!)

  • Bean salad

  • Pancakes with topped with cream and orange peel in syrup - declared delicious by all who were there. Look out for jars of the orange peel at Lidl's when they have their Greek themed food weeks

Yummy food! Several purchases were made of Wafaa's recipe book on the strength of this evening.
