April Book Club

April saw our first 'group' read of the year. Seven of us read The Ghost Wall by Sarah Moss and we gave it very mixed reviews. It received scores between 4 and 8 and should definitely win a marmite award as it divided the group.


We also discussed several other books that the group got through this month including The Satsuma Complex by Bob Mortimer. The advertising for this book describes it as "A page-turning story with a cast of unforgettable characters". Unfortunately it is notable to us as receiving the lowest ever score awarded at book club, scoring just half a point out of 10. Here are the rest of the months reads and scores:-
