So sorry to hear how many people were poorly this week. However, we still managed a decent gathering on Tuesday to discuss Miss Benson's Beetle and we're so happy we did. This book scored a massive 8.8 out of 10 and led to lots of interesting discussion about the post war years and particular women's role in society.
A score above 8 puts it in our Goodreads category and 8.8 puts it in our top 10 of all time. It's our second read by Rachel Joyce and this one has a better score than her previous read, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (8). She's our second author we've returned to and her scores are better than the two we've read by Jane Harper.
Our next book is The Spy and the Traitor by Ben McIntyre.
