February's Happy Hookers meeting was a more virtual one than real as most people couldn't make the meeting itself. However, nearly everyone has taken February's chosen make to their hearts, quite literally in fact and presented lots of different ways to create crocheted hearts via their online chat group. They range from a simple edged one through to a couple of bags which look useful for small gifts or to reward upcoming Easter egg hunts.
If you fancy having a go yourself, here are the links to the various patterns we tried:
Simple edged heart, from Attic24 - the basic teeny tiny heart pattern is here and you will need to scroll down the Happy Flower make (also worth doing) for the edging
Heart Granny square by Bella Coco, who also has some lovely ideas of how to use it for a coaster, cushion, blanket or a wall hanging depending on your chosen yarn
Amigurumi heart - Michelle uses hers as a stress ball!
Heart drawstring pouch - via a YouTube video or written instructions
Gift bag with heart - YouTube video
We often struggle to find useful makes we like yet still want to try something new, so it's great everyone found something to their liking.
