What a great evening we had at book club, this month's book 'Professor Chandra Follows His Bliss' provoked lots of lively debate. We covered a wide variety of subjects whilst discussing this book, our scores ranging from as low as 4 to a high of 9 giving this one a score of 6.5 out of 10.
We also discussed book selections from January onwards and have decided to go back to our old method of selecting 6 months books at a time. More info to follow on that.
Our next book 'Wide Sargasso Sea' by Jean Rhys is inspired by the first Mrs Rochester, the Mad Wife in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.
