This month Mei Catheral of Dance2learn.org joined us to show us how to salsa. Mei took us through several dance steps, then the group was divided into leaders and followers and we attempted to put the steps together. Gradually adding additional moves, condensing what would usually be several weeks worth of sessions into an action packed hour. With each new step with learnt we also rotated partners making it a really sociable fun evening.
Mei also gave us a quick background of his charity where they work with a school in Gambia to provide such basics as electricity, water and food to support the children’s education. This is achieved through donations to his dance school here in the UK, so by booking Mei you get a fantastic fun dance session and the knowledge that you are supporting the work of this charity.
