It was great to have our annual bra collection start up again and thanks for your donation of 20 lightly worn bras. These have now gone to Against Breast Cancer in support of their work both here in the UK and in Africa.
This time our Chippenham Lasses Walking Netball and Sheila Copeman's fitness groups also took part and together we donated two dustbin bags full of bras!
Update January 2023
Michelle recently received a thank you letter from the charity and she reckons they took the sender's address from the house number and postcode she put on the outside of the parcel instead of using the lovely note from Pewsham Belles she put inside the box with the bras. Who knows, perhaps the Belles will also get a thank you instead of the generic 'ABC Supporter' used in this instance!
