The Color Purple

The book club finally met up in person this week in Wendy's garden, where both garden and her new work from home office were much admired. It was great catching up with everyone, and Gill and Diane I were welcomed for the first time. They enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening discussing "The Color Purple" which scored a 7.5 out of 10.

The next read is "The Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess" which we'll review on September 14th. Venue is TBA.
