Our latest theatrical production was quite different! Firstly it was held in a church (St Andrews to be precise) in an "in the round setting", i.e. the audience are seated around the stage instead of facing it. Secondly all 7 parts in Oscar Wilde's famous work were played by just 2 male actors, both of whom took on the formidable role of Lady Bracknell when needed. The church setting made it a little hard to hear at times, but for most of us that didn't prevent enjoyment of a thoroughly entertaining and hectic version from Split Second Productions, whose talent well deserved our prolonged applause at the end.
