Today we should have joined with the other Chippenham WIs and unveiled our poppy cascade at the Town Hall to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Instead, we're wearing our poppies with pride and look forward to seeing you at Flexi Club at 3pm for a virtual afternoon tea on Zoom. Our poppy makers continued to work hard during Lockdown and the number made is now well over 200. We look forward to meeting with Hardenhuish, Lockside and Pewsham WIs to create the cascade for Remembrance Sunday in November (fingers crossed).
