Eight Walkie Talkies had a lovely time exploring Sherston's Brook End Ford walk this morning. We managed slightly further than the advertised 3.2 miles as we decided a look at the ford was a must and we shunned the shorter walk across the field towards the end which cuts off a corner. Coffee and cake at the Courtyard cafe afterwards is highly recommended.
Thanks to Victoria for arranging the walk and the beautiful weather to go with it!
Sherston has a series of 10 walks using the local footpaths, plus an hour's stroll around the village courtesy of the local footpath group. Each walk is well documented on their walks website and vary from around three to six miles in length. There's plenty to tempt the Walkie Talkies back to this delightful village!
