Having not quite managed to get our act together to make one, it was only fair we supported our 'home' scarecrow trail on Sunday by actually going round. The theme was 'Heroes and Villains', with plenty of TV, film and book themed scarecrows to keep us guessing. There was even a cheeky nod to current affairs, with Boris Johnson making a 'Partygate' appearance!
Four of us went in the end. Michelle, Victoria and Diane in one jolly group, plus Fiona P and her daughter Rebecca forming the brainy team who got all of the answers right! It was just the right length for a pleasant walk on a sunny Sunday afternoon with 25 scarecrows to find.
Having got the measure of what's involved, perhaps we can go one better next year?
