Belles and bluebells

The last day of April dawned bright and fair; a perfect day for the Belles to reprise their walk along the old railway path to Calne. It was a glorious morning, made magical by the discovery of glades of bluebells gracing either side of the path once the route rejoined the railway line after Stanley. It meant it was time to try a slightly different photo to usual, with the Belles having fun with the bluebells shimmering invitingly in the background.

At Black Dog Halt it was time for another group photo before they reached Calne, where they bade farewell to Wendy as she was jogging back to Chippenham. The rest had a scrummy lunch at Divine on the Green where Jenny revealed she had spent some of her courting days in the same place... when it was a pub!

Michelle then went back to Chippenham for a session with the Happy Hookers, whilst the rest morphed into the Boneyard Belles for a spot of mooching around Calne cemetery for an hour or so. A bus ride back ended a grand day out!
