Congratulations Teresa!

It seems fitting somehow that Chippenham's first mayor elected virtually is also a Pewsham Belle! We know Teresa has looked forward to her year of office so much, but she probably didn't expect it to start in quite a different way or in the current circumstances. Her diary currently has no official engagements which must be disheartening, but she's still keeping positive about her new role. In our recent Zoom chat she said she's getting a lot of teasing at Chippenham Hospital where she works, with everyone curtseying to her, which we'd also threatened to do when we finally get to meet up. Thankfully she's taking it all in her stride with a smile and a giggle. The Gazette and Herald has plenty of official photos, but keeping copyright in mind I've chosen one of the selfies Teresa supplied for her visual Day in the Life diary entry instead. Teresa's chosen charity for her Mayoral year is Wiltshire Portage, who provide free home and specialist education services for pre-school-aged children who have special educational needs. Congratulations Teresa, Pewsham Belles are cheering you on and we'll support your special year in whatever way we can!
