The Happy Hookers crochet group have been busy working on their gingerbread bread houses.
We shared the pattern at our October Meeting, but we made more progress eating the biscuits and drinks coffee than we did with the pattern. It turned out to be a bit more challenging than expected, particularly the roof titles.
Pauline has been a star, here's her completed gingerbread house, giving the rest of us the much-needed encouragement to get on with it. We are still busy working away with the intention of completing them at the December meeting.
Note that the pattern's roof uses crocodile stitch, which we've previously found rather challenging. Other options such as shell stitch are available and were used for this make!
You can find the original pattern here.
