It's been a good year for bluebells and the Walkie Talkies have enjoyed several walks to see them in their prime. Michelle thought the above photo taken in Mortimore's Wood looked like the cover of a rock album and Fiona P added the band's name should be The Blue Belles! Fiona and Michelle also found plenty of bluebells on their walk around Bird's Marsh.
Perhaps the most exciting walk was from Pewsham, where several Belles boarded the bus to Calne, stepping off at Studley Crossroads to meet Fiona B for a walk on Bowood's public footpaths to reach Calne for lunch. As you can see they also found plenty of bluebells along the way!
