The Joy of Christmas window display was the perfect excuse for a Sunday stroll around town and a wonderful opportunity for a group - albeit smaller than we'd like - get together after the latest lockdown restrictions were lifted.
Congratulations to Wendy whose artwork is in prime spot at the Town Hall. We were delighted to bump into her on the way round for a brief chat, and also Teresa later. The artwork is on display in the windows of key civic places and also the town's independent shops and makes for a wide ranging trail around town. We also extended our walk to see the latest Christmas yarnbombing from the Knatty Knitters group, who've topped various postboxes which are bringing many smiles to Chippenham.
We finished the morning with a takeaway coffee and chat under the Buttercross. Thank goodness for this central outdoor gathering space as it had just started to rain!
We also spotted Santa and Rudolph strolling into town!
