The road to Hullavington

Fiona P writes (via Facebook): "The Walkie Talkies (and honorary four legged member Bess) enjoyed an autumn walk around Hullavington, led by Clare who lives in the village. She included a bit of local history (when she could get us to stop talking),including taking us past Surrendel House, famous as a party venue for Princess Margaret and Roddy Lewellyn back in the day. Afterwards we had a delicious and well earned pub lunch in The Hullavington Arms. All agreed it was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning."

Diane I added: "We should have got a shot of how muddy our boots were! It was great to be out and about getting some much needed fresh air. Really enjoyed the pub lunch and the variety of conversations including the naughtiest thing we ever did as a youngster. Turned out Clare & I had quite a list!"
