The Boneyard Belles finally launched fully (after lots of photo sharing on its private Facebook Group over the summer) with a trip to Bath Abbey Cemetery! A tour* led by Molly, a lecturer at Bristol University enlightened us about some of the Victorian attitudes to death and burial, plus some interesting facts about tombstone architecture.
It was a really good tour and a fascinating place - we hope to return another day to explore further. The afternoon was rounded out with the inevitable and entirely necessary tea and cake! Watch out for more events coming up soon.
