Thank you ladies! From all the discrete parcels you passed to Michelle, she has 33 bras, aka a bagful, aka 2.5 kilos in weight to send off to Against Breast Cancer's research funding/Africa campaign via Hayloft Plants' freepost address.
There's still time to join in (by mid December) if you'd like to make a donation. Hayloft Plants have thrown open their freepost address so that anyone who hasn't got one of Against Breast Cancer's bra banks nearby can donate their bras without the cost of postage. The bras help in 3 ways:
they raise cash for breast cancer research
they support a project in Africa where the bras are refurbished and distributed by African women
it keeps as much of these items as possible out of landfill
The address to send them to is: Hayloft Plants Ltd, FREEPOST RTGR-JAGJ-JETG, Pensham, Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 3HB. Hayloft are passing all bras on to Against Breast Cancer at their expense and will announce a final bra count when their collection closes. UPDATE 8/12/2017: Thanks to further donations, our tally now stands at 52 and a HUGE parcel is wending its way to Hayloft Plants. Update 21/1/2018: Hayloft announced on Twitter this week they collected a total of 400 bras, with a special thanks to Pewsham Belles :)
