September's get together is our meeting where we invite you to eat cake and support a local charity! This year's nominated charity is Wiltshire Sight who support more than 2,500 people with sight loss of all ages, as well as their families and their carers across Wiltshire, They offer information, advice and guidance, as well as giving people practical and emotional support to help them in their daily lives. They have a fully equipped resource centre at St Lucy’s in Devizes, offering state-of-the-art assistive technology products and low vision aids. Wiltshire Sight do not charge for their services and receive no statutory funding. A great local cause for us to support this month, especially as they have helped one of our members in the past. The proceeds from our raffle and cake sale raised £47.80.
